Taylor Swift Update - January 15th

If you missed the People's Choice awards last week check out billboard.com for a video clip of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech for Female Artist of the Year.  Taylor Swift stated, "What a beautiful, beautiful way to start out a new decade" and I have to agree that winning an award at the beginning of the year is an awesome way to start out 2010.

Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner are being names the best on screen couple in a poll.  Read the article at MTV.co.uk.  The movie Valentine's Day will be in theatres next month.  As the article states "TayTay came top in the vote,"  I guess TayTay may have to rethink the recent break-up or better yet do another film together. 

In other news, Taylor Swift has been named the best selling digital artist in history!!  Read the article at taylorswiftonline.net.  With well over 24 million in digital sales no wonder Taylor Swift is staring in films, selling out arenas, and creating an internet buzz weekly well almost daily.  Stay tuned to see what Taylor Swift has in store for the fans.

Taylor Swift Update - December 30th

Us Magazine is reporting that Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner split.  This is very sad since they were a cute couple.  Read the story at usmagazine.com.  Wow what an exciting year Taylor Swift has had!  Including one of the strangest moments on TV the 'Interrupting' Kanye West incident. Taylor Swift Update - December 23rd

Did you miss Taylor Lautner on SNL last weekend?  Check out the recap video at People.com.  The clip is funny and can you blame Taylor for addressing the 'Interrupting Kanye' issue?  I am sure Taylor Swift thought that it was appropriate and comical considering her 'mannequin' appearance.  There is a spot to leave comments so feel free to share what you think.

Taylor Swift recently turned 20!!!  To celebrate her birthday Taylor Swift gave a $250,000 donation to schools that she has attended or been involved with.  Read the entire article at aceshowbiz.com.  It is clear that Taylor Swift is an amazing musician and a wonderful person.  She can also bake too!!  The article mentions that Taylor Swift and her mother were up late making food for her birthday party.  What a personal touch to her own birthday party.

Taylor Swift Update - December 11th

Taylor Swift is creating a buzz by a drastic change to her hair.  Check out some pictures at okmagazine.com.  The story goes is that she had the hair done for a photo shoot and she continued to wear it out to eat at Bobby Flay's new restaurant.  Read the article at popsugar.com.  The hairstyle is great, fresh and has a 70's retro feel.  There is a discussion board on People Magazine's style page about what the fans think of the straight her she is sporting.  Click here to see the comments.

Billboard names Taylor Swift Top Female Artist of 2009.  Go to billboard.com to read about it.  Guess who is named Top Male Artist?  The 'Interrupting' Kanye West.  The Grammy stage is going to very interesting and hopefully not controversial.

There is also talk that Susan Boyle may outsell 'Fearless' for the best selling album of 2009.  Read the article at popeater.com.  She is a good singer but come on she is not Taylor Swift who writes her own music.  There are only a few weeks left to get the 2.53 million in album sales that Taylor Swift has.  A short amount of time for Susan Boyle's album.  You can bet there will be more 'Fearless' sales for those last minute shoppers.

Taylor Swift Update - December 4th

Tune into The Jay Leno Show tonight to see Taylor Swift participate in the ever popular 10 @ 10 segment according to deadboltnews.com.  It is going to be an interesting interview considering the many open avenues.  We cannot forget Kanye West, or the fact that 'Fearless' is uber fantastic, and the eight Grammy noms that Taylor Swift received on Wednesday.

Read more about the Grammy nominations at CMT.com.  The amount and the sheer diversity of Grammy nominations is a reflection of her versatility as an artist.  The article mentions that she received three nominations in all genres of music.

Taylor Swift recently joined the Comcast team and signed on with Green Day and U2 to redefine music television.  (Click here to read the article)  According to the article the VOD partnership will involve not only music videos but behind the scenes footage and other special programming like Taylor's SNL appearance.  Speaking of SNL Taylor Lautner will be on it December 12th and the buzz is that he is going to spoof his girlfriend Taylor Swift.  Read about it at examiner.com.
